On October 11th 2014 people all over the world will gather for different events as part of an international day of action against Fracking. Come Stand Up with Love Leitrim on Global Frackdown in the Glens Centre Manorhamilton.
For the third year running Love Leitrim will be part of the Frackdown and have organised an evening of Comedy, Music and Entertainment that will take place in the Glens Centre in Manorhamilton. Performers on the night include Comedian John Colleary, Writers Brian Leyden and Donal O’Kelly, Dancing troupe Sean Nós Ar An TSionann, with music from Mick Blake, Seanán Brennan, Rossa Ó Snodaigh, Colm Regan, Sarah Hale, The Mullies Crowd, Iain Shekelton, Jean Michel McCarthy, Margo Barrow and more to be confirmed.
Admission is free although donations are welcome.

Pig on a spit with music and dance outside the site gates in Belcoo from 3pm -5pm
From 1pm all day Mullaghadun community centre. Belcoo. Australian wake for Tamboran and celebrating a community victory in protecting our island from an industry that causes pollution where ever it goes. It is a cross border, cross community event. There are 12 schools in total on board with the project. The day will have a carnival feel to it with traditional music and performances from schools. The evening will be filled with music, poetry and local voices.
